Bob Spiers

Bob has been diving and taking underwater photographs for about 11 years. His favorite subjects to shoot are sharks, dolphins, and whales. When he is not doing wide angle, he shoots macro. He likes finding one place on a reef and just sitting there until his eye starts catching the tiny creatures that blend in with their environment!

Bob uses a Nikonos 5 with a 15mm lens and an Ikelite 200 strobe for wide angle. For macro, he has a Nikon 8008 with a 105mm lens in an Ieklite housing, with 2 Ikelite MV strobes.

Bob was the NCUPS featured photographer for January, 1999.
