Kathy Kennedy

Kathy has been has been diving for nearly 30 years! She comments: "I suppose diving/photography was inevitable for me. Immersion in an aquatic medium/environment has always been a personal source of renewal. An image freezes and elucidates the underwater moment; video revisits its fluidity. It all bolsters the belief that a little water in one's life never hurts...... until it gets in your camera(s)."

Kathy's credits include: UW Kelp Monitoring Program Diver, Volunteer for Channel Islands National Park Service and California Fish and Game - Big Sur area, Research Diver San Francisco State University, Project Ocean Volunteer, Coral Reef Research (Malaysia, Kudat & Borneo - Soft corals), Invading Asian clam research (mudflat), PADI/NAUI various specialties, and NAUI Assistant Instructor.

A business owner, elementary school substitute teacher, and holding tap workshops for a teen theater company, Kathy has plenty to keep her busy.
