Jack's philosophy about diving is to dive as hard and as often as you can, push you're personal limits but not the dive tables, and burn lots of film. Fellow NCUPS members can vouch for that. Diving since 1986, Jack has developed a deep appreciation and a profound respect for our underwater world. Jack has won numerous awards over the years. He has won International Competitions, such as EPIC, The Malaysia Shoot Out, and Underwater Images as well as local competitions such as The Beach Dive Photo Competition and the Monterey Shoot Out. Jack has also had his pictures printed on the cover of Performance Diver Magazine a number of times. One of his biggest accomplishments has been in the developing and making of underwater florescent equipment. Wanting to do something new, in May of this year he did something that hadn't been done in our club before. With the help of Monte Smith and a few other NCUPS members, he was able to bring us the beauty of photography and the magic of video together in a ground breaking show about Papua New Guinea.
