Squid Egg Watching
For our first dive, Adm. Linda and I kicked out to the Metridium fields figuring on getting some wide-angle shots of the trids. There were lots of patches of squid eggs with sea stars, but most were skungy brown. I kept looking for one with fresh white eggs and a couple of sea stars, and set up this shot of Linda with the eggs.
Nikonos RS, 13 mm lens, two Nikon SB-104s, long, long, arms with the strobes set well back. 1/30 sec, f/5.6, TTL flash.
