Ruth Chofre SCULPIN During the almost TWO HOURS I spent under the waters of Wharf II, I spotted this sculpin while shooting a “fringie.”..He was so cooperative, I thought he must have Velcro on his tummy! In my head, I was reviewing what Berkley White had taught about lighting in a recent class at "Backscatter"...and pointers Steve Rosenberg has given me over the years. I had the opportunity to do some serious bracketing on this sculpin. Nikon D100, 60mm lens in a Light & Motion Titan housing, two Nikonos 105 strobes with diffusers, short Ultralite arms, TTL flash (bracketing by using the Titan’s ROC capabilities for more or less light) at 1/200 sec., f22 and a Light & Motion modeling light.
