Ling Cod
This was taken on my second dive of the day at the Metridium Fields. On the first dive there with wide-angle, I'd noticed that there were lots of macro subjects, so I changed lenses on the surface interval and swam back out.
This particular ling was really jumpy and this was the only shot I got of him, and I didn't know whether I'd gotten it until I got the film back because he was there when the mirror went up, and was gone when it came back down.

Nikonos RS, 50 mm lens, two Nikon SB-104s with diffusers and short arms. 1/60 sec, f/16, TTL flash.
