This competition is held each year in Monterey, CA. On Saturday morning, each of 97 entrants received a roll of the new Kodak slide film, E100VS (VS=Vivid Saturation), shot it from one or more beach dives, and turned it in by 4 p.m. Saturday for overnight processing. Each entrant picked up his/her processed film Sunday morning and selected five slides to enter. The slides were judged, and the winners were announced and shown Sunday afternoon.
