Nov 08 2019 PNG and The Solomon Islands

Trip account from NCUPS member Linda Reisinger:
Nine intrepid divers traveled from the bay area to Papua New Guinea for a 10-day stay on the liveaboard boat, Taca, aka Solomons PNG Master (https://www.masterliveaboards.com). Kathy Mendes, Holly Ong, Tim Nelson, Bob Yee, John Thackara, Lauri Perry, Patty Harris, Mark Krag, and I booked through Worldwide Dive and Sail, an NCUPS and Backscatter sponsor for several years. We boarded our ship on May 27th in Rabaul, PNG, and sailed to the city of Munda in the western province of the Solomon Islands. This trip was exploratory in nature and many of the sites had never been dived before. We saw plenty of wrecks above and below water along with the many sea creatures. At the end of the ten days, Mark, Bob, and I decided to extend our trip for another seven days traveling further into the Solomon Islands—from Munda to Guadalcanal and Honiara while the others either stayed in Munda longer or traveled to Guadalcanal for some land based adventures. Since most of us are photographers and long standing NCUPS members, we have a variety of underwater and above water pictures to share with you. Please come join us as we relive our trip!
